Professional Care

Nursing care at Ear Health is provided by our team of experienced and competent registered nurses.

A comprehensive training programme at Head Office in Tauranga is compulsory for new nurses to successfully complete prior to commencing independent clinic work.

New staff work towards an Ear Health Certificate of Accreditation which is attained after 420 hours of supervised nursing-practice and the achievement of an appraisal process completed to New Zealand Nursing Council standards.

Ongoing professional development includes a national Ear Health nurses' conference held annually: a development time of networking, sharing and receiving best practice and clinical updates from guest speakers who are experts in their specific fields.

Our clinical work is supported by a team of friendly, professional reception and administrative staff.
